Confidentially, A Good Read

Just so you know, I attended college with Jeff Cohen for a few years. He wrote articles for the college paper that were sometimes pretty funny. That was kind of inappropriate for the news stories, but it was college.

When he tweeted out the information about his new book, DAD CONFIDENTIAL, I decided to take a chance. As long as there weren't any news stories in it, I was sure it would be pretty funny, and I was correct.

Jeff gets inside the head of a dad, with a dad's perspective. As a father of two girls, I could sympathize with Michael Kaufman's growing daughter issues. Indeed, if there is a followup, the teenage years are only going to be filled with more drama. As for the boys, well, I don't have boys. But they have to be easier than girls.

I enjoyed DAD CONFIDENTIAL. It brought me back to my college days, and showed how Jeff has matured as an author. And even as a parent.
