Sci-fi short story based in Australia in the near future to be updated every week in episode form. More
“It’s February the second, 2035. Making news today, the first genetically modified animal-human is starting school at Sydney state high school, New South Wales Australia. The male youth goat, gorilla, human mix, or capra-homindae, is one of three surviving creatures from the tests found in the famous Epicurus lab take down in Sydney, where scientists were suspected of putting human organs, including brains into animal fusions. They say it was for the future of human development, that these tests will rid us of weaknesses. Regardless, their fate was taken from the hands of the Epicurus company and put to moral debate.
Epicurus himself is still denying that he knew anything about what was going on in his lab.
After a month of decision making it was deemed that integration of the hybrids was the most humane way of dealing with their lives. Many oppose this move and are here at Sydney state high to picket against sending an animal to school with their children. Nevertheless, these hybrids are now part of our society.”
