About Peter Bowman

Peter Bowman grew up in Germany during the World War era. In 1949 he emigrated to the United States and within four years became a preeminent administrator for a medical institution for the mentally handicapped and later maintained a private psychiatry practice for twenty-five years.

In his later years he turned to writing, focusing on reflective non-fiction and providing a lively and analytical assessment of family life during turbulent times.
