About Victor Perrotti
Victor Perrotti is a husband and father of three children. He enjoys photography, web design, hombrewing, cycling, surfing, writing poetry, reading, and drawing. He is a resident of Virginia (Hampton Roads area). He holds a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University and a Master of Education from The College of William and Mary. A teacher and student, Victor has spent his career teaching and learning from students with disabilities. He published his first chapbook, Spider Byte, in 2014.

Get ready to embark on a journey. "Spider Dreams" will transport you in unexpected ways, at times making you splendidly uncomfortable and then rewarding with you images that are so stark and right on they will travel with you for days. The writer is talented both with words and insight and is effective in translating that into poems that are soothing in sound while jarring in effect. A true artist, the writer leaves you full of vibrant images and more questions than answers. I enjoyed every page!

The poems in Spider Dreams are evocations of mood and pictures drawn with sparse words. Mr. Perrotti's talent is in creating the feel of experiences for the reader triggering the readers own imagery rather than mechanically spelling it out. The subjects draw heavily from the natural world making the experience more like a hike on a spring morning than a leisurely read indoors. The poems show an eye for observation as keen as the ear for verse.

"Spider Dreams" captures the ebb and flow of the Universe, the infinite layers of dark and light, sentience expressed.
I adore this collection of poetry, it provides a feast for my mind and spirit, where vivid colors meld into a single point of light. As I read each line I couldn't help but close my eyes to savor the multiplicity of sensations that arose. Deep, bold, and intense, I look forward to reading more from this man.

This Mermaid stopped looking for her starless purse and bought Victor Perrotti's new eBook, "Spider Dreams".
His poetry is an amazing journey, knitting alliterative words with pops of of near rhymes and flashes of rhymes, flowing poetry so soothing, that I read for three hours straight. I finished reading into the wee hours of the morn.
Five stars doesn't do a justice to "Spider Dreams". Victor Perrotti uses words that no one uses, but the wordsmiths. "Spider Dreams" is a true treasure, it's going into my treasure chest!

I just purchased and read this amazing collection of poetry by Victor Perrotti. Any lover of nature and poetry would truly enjoy this collection. Through breathtaking prose, Mr. Perrotti whisks you away to each of the places he describes. As I read, pictures so easily developed in my mind. His poems are full emotion and beauty, darkness and light. I loved this collection and look forward to more.
