About Pete Floros

Loni Abel, the heroine in my novels, is my wife, and a retired USAF Colonel (O-6) and base commander in real life. I am a former AF security force officer. We both have black belt karate training and enjoy riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. I am a retired law enforcement officer. I have served in the sheriffs department, highway patrol and state fire marshal departments. We bring alive our experiences, embelished a bit, to keep our readers on the edge of the pages. "Murder on Monkey Mountain" is the first in a series of novels of the Sheriff Bull Toros novels, dealing with a fictitious Hades 1% motorcycle gang, Don Vito Cormone, head of a mob syndicate. A corrupt syndicate of murder and arson of elderly victims for insurance fraud. We involve a hidden treasure of the Jesse James gang in a cave on Monkey Mountain. Big Chief, the last of the Cherokee clan, who knows everything on the mountain, including the heritage of the Mo-Mo, or Big Foot, Sasquatch. You will not be dissapointed. I could go on, but you will have to read the novel?
The sequel, "Menace On Monkey Mountain."
is now published on Smashwords. (Nov.2013)
Also to come, "Whistler" involves a logging camp, Big Foot, or Mo-Mo as he is called in Missouri. Then we have two novels, "Old Doc Franklin" and "A Time To Die" set in the Civil War era of Tennesse.
