Malinda is kind. Someone noticed. She is richly rewarded and carries on being kind. End of story.

Nicely written. However the tale troubled me, why, how would I review it.
It was like a very condensed quest. No, that was not the troubling part, though it would have been nice if the story had been expanded.
Then I asked how her neighbours would react to the sudden change in her circumstances. No, that was not my worry.
Then I realized that what I did not like was that this kind woman had to kiss a stranger, a stranger who left at once.

She kissed a stranger and got rewarded. I don't want girls to have that as take home message. In fairy tales a kiss can be code for something more carnal.

I would have wanted the handsome man to propose to the beautiful woman he had seen (through her kindness) after revealing it to the world, as being a better ending. If not that, then expanding the tale, quest element perhaps, so we could see how she still carried on being kind after contact with the magician or fairy.

I downloaded this as "food" for my vacation, being in the middle of a dead zone, reading that is.. -lol-

This is a very short story, but that doesn't make it less readable or lacking a storyline.

This is a perfect example, a good story doesn't have to be big.

This is a Gem as it is, it doesn't need much explaining.
Who or why will resolve itself.

It has mystery, magic, shock, fear, a kiss and thankfulness all in just a view pages.
and a story that when you are finished, keeps you wondered.

This is truly something to be proud off.
The gift of a story: Good job Daniel!

I got this book for free using a coupon, and I must say, I loved it! I really did, and when I reached the last word, I was left wanting for more . . . so, I got a full length book from this same author.
