Overall: Although I believe this mad an excellant addition to the first in this series, I do not think that it went to the heights it could have. Other than that I think this could become a great series.
Point of View: Just as before you are in the mind of Daisi, seeing things from her viewpoint. I think this makes the story a bit more personal and draws a little more of the reader in.
Voice: This is clearly not a strongpoint for the author as the writing seems a bit timid. But clearly the author has been working on this aspect of their craft.
Character Development: The author has done a wonderful job of bringing the main character back for a seconf story and I look forward to more of Daisi's path in life.
Plot: One word. Flawless
Dialogue: Again not an apparent strong point in the author's armory but the dialogue more or less came through.
Pacing: This is a rather short story so the pace does not really affect one way or the other. It is a light and entertaining read.
Setting: Daisi (haha Author's name is the same as the main character) made a world that seems to be that apartment building right down the block. This could be the life of someone right under your nose. So yess the setting was perfection.
Continuity: Naming the character and the author as one in the same gives this an autobiography feel to it. A nice touch to add to the story.
