About Scott Donald

Scott Donald, spends his free time attempting to write a travel blog about his favourite town in Japan, Numazu, Shizuoka. He claims that this is because he is trying to help foreigners discover more about Numazu, but it might also be an excuse to go to a good restaurant. He also makes very wobbly travel videos. You can find out more about his blog at . As an obscure aside he has also written a number of band bios. He is currently working on his next travel book based on his up and coming adventure in Vietnam.

An excellent read! Donald does a superb job of taking you on an unexpected journey along the Romantic Road, to the well-known and recognizable Neuschwantstein Castle (the German castle that inspired the Disney castles in Orlando and California.) He follows a great tradition of travel writers who share their journey through their passions. In Donald’s case it is through food and his love of castles. Like all good books in this genre, An Amorous Route, is a fun read that makes you want to carve out your own niche along the same path.
