About Janith Hooper

Janith Hooper grew up on a ranch in northern California. Ranch and farm life is what she knows, romance what she adores, and western romance what she loves to write. Janith lives with her husband of forty-three years in Oakdale, California—Cowboy Capital of the World. She has four grown sons, three daughters-in-love, and three grandchildren with one on the way. After raising her four sons, God directed her path to writing novels. Harper Ranch’s A Quaking Heart is her debut trilogy. Her next series, Cooper Bar-6 Ranch’s A Breath Without Life, is available now: Let Your Heart Beat Again. Twelve years into this writing journey, Janith treasures every energy-draining, joyous moment of it. She wouldn’t dream of writing one word without God. In fact, she does it all for Him.

Intriguing, couldn't stop reading till last page...teaches a lot of christain values and trials of faith...characters are so realistic and practically come to life! I totally relate with the heroine, Jessie in so many instances. Thumbs up and may God continue to increase you. I absolutely love this book!

Hoo! I love this book. I love the characters. The world is full of pain, betrayals, hurt but here the author creates this little perfect world with cow boys, mountains, beautiful country sides and with characters full of humanity and ready to help one another. The characters face difficulties but eventually all is well. The world is sad but just hold on, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Such stories as this give light in darkness. So come my friend, come listen to this beautiful story !

Janith Hooper did a great job writing this love story. A great emphasis on Christianity and living with Christian values. The plot was entertaining.

Jessica shows up to help her uncle on his ranch from California to Montana. She believes she is plain and her mother hopes she finds a husband.
Her job is to help the cook.

She has very strong Christian values and the womanizer Foreman that she has a crush on doesn't. She has problems with his behavior and everybody has warned her to leave the handsome man alone.

They go through many trials. His lengthy illness after a near wagon crash includes inappropriate behavior while not in control. Her amnesia after a earthquakes and his gunshot in the head. A almost kidnapping and a Pinkerton agent adds to the story.

Both are jealous and insecure but finally work out. He accepts Christ. Other characters are included to make this a excellent book. I admit to reading twice a year apart.

Good Christian cowboy tale with reality - I remember that earth shattering experience, but to a lesser point, in Livingston. Jessica is the shy type, thinking she is not good enough. Clint is too good looking and I think qualifies equally with Robert as one good looking match for the girl with a heart of gold.
