I took my earlier review off because I felt I should revise...
You are a great writer, Amanda, especially considering that this is your first book. It takes a lot of guts to publish something that you work so hard on and feel attached to, believe me I know.
That being said, you have to remember that there will always be people out there who have negative things to say, use these opportunities as a means to grow, listen to what people are saying... don't take it to heart, but use it, feed off of it, and get better.
So, yes, your story has a few grammatical errors, yes it's short and can use a bit of work, but you did it.
You finished a novel and published it.
Be proud of that and always remember that even the best writers had to start somewhere.

There are a lot of grammar errors in this book.
It's a waste of my money.
The story was simple and boring.

How some people could gave this book 5 stars I don't underdstand.
I bought book 1 & 2, but I'm not reading book 2. Too bad ...

If you love to read a book from cover to cover and do it in one sitting, this is the book for you! The tempo built throughout the book so I felt like I was racing from page to page. I was completely shocked by the ending and now I can't wait for her to publish the sequel!
