Very enjoyable read - both my wife & I liked it. Characters were interesting & engaging, and we both cared what happened to them. Our reader has a tts function so we listened to the story on our recent trip. I partly agree with Jay re the $$, but, in defense of the author, we think it's alluded to about midway through the story. We've just bought the second book in the series for our next trip.

This is definitely a 'girlie' book. It was interesting and the story was original but like other books I've read by female authors it lacks the details I want. I like to know more about the material things used by the characters. Also, I never learned where the money at the heart of the plot came from. A good read but heavy on distraught, self questioning emotions.
