For over 30 years, David Johnson was a writer covering the entertainment business, specializing in daytime drama. Towards the end of his career in the latter field, Johnson was the Associate West Coast editor of SOAP OPERA WEEKLY for over 10 years. Since retiring from that world, he has written several screenplays. Also, Johnson embarked on an entirely different career as a cabaret singer. He has sung in a number of top venues in the Los Angeles area. His mentor in this particular area of his life is the multi-media luminary Constance Towers.
