Something is wrong here. Despite poor grammar and a certain amount of very marginal writing the author has a good story going until a contest between man and beast plunges into boring everyday narrative. Somebody needs to learn how to plot.

A quick realistic look into a life changing event. Going to look for more works by the author.

This is almost a good story. The tension is incredibly high until…
Until anti-climax. What a letdown!
Written in the wrong tense and needs an edit for silly typos, but the depiction of a man facing death has some merit, and brings the score to three.

A good short story here. A realistic look at the outback and chanced survival.
