About Skot David Wilson

I was raised on the Raritan Bayshore South of New York City where the New Jersey Shore starts. I was uniquely aware of the effects of pollution and things mankind has gotten wrong, but also was very cognizant of what was done right, and how, despite many setbacks, humanity has made slow progression. I lost my father when I was 17 and dealt with a lot of personal issues and demons until I developed a perspective I can live with. My conscience guides me, and I am now past 50 and working to build a better world to mitigate the adversity I feel is fast approaching all of humanity.

I most enjoyed the sea story elements of this story, plus the futuristic plot. The author shows great versatility in story telling and character development.

This tale is set in the future but is is front loaded with all kinds of ecological and political warnings about today. Problems teh author brings up are overpopulation, corruption, climate change and others. The story is set in the future in a time when many of these problems no longer exist due to apocalyptic events that destroyed the population and changed the landscape. However, life in the future is still very much the same with pizza joints, colleges, family and friend living kind of like they do today except without so much political, economic and environmental problems. Personally I liked the characters and especially the fact that there are several episodes on a ship and around the ocean.
