As an avid young adult fiction fan, I’m always looking for a new one to read. How I only read Balance book 1 now, is beyond me. It’s fresh without getting too preachy, like you often find in YAF. In fact, I was impressed with how effortlessly the writer addressed the aspects of good and evil. The book is loaded with a duality, but it’s given a tangible face that makes it easy to relate to while still sending your imagination soaring. I can’t wait to start with the second one!

Words cannot express how flippen excited I am for book 2. Come now. Bring it! Bring it oke! This book got me back into reading after many years of wandering aimlessly, bored of everything I tried. First author I have truly enjoyed since David Gemmell passed away. High five.

I absolutely adored this book. I got so addicted to it's amazing, witty characters and magical story that 'Just a few more pages' became 'A few more chapters' and then 'I should just finish it now' and when I did finish it I was left craving more...We need book two please!

I loved this book. I found myself spellbound from page one, and was literally thinking about the story when I wasn't actually reading it. The characters are well rounded, the story concept original in its own way, and my only complaint is that book two isn't out yet.

This was a completely fascinating read. I loved the character and was kind of let down the story ended, but I guess that's the way things are. It was very unique and riveting. I would like to read more of this author's works.

For a first time author, this book is an extremely entertaining read. He has successfully managed to write an original story in a very popular (some would say over-populated) genre.

Well done to the author. I wait for the second book in the series with great anticipation.
