About Jael Rivas

Jael Rivas is an enthusiastic teacher, with a passion for creating classrooms that foster creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning. She holds Bachelors in History with a Minor in Spanish Literature from Fordham University, a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Fordham University's Graduate School of Education, and an Ed.S. with a concentration in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University. In addition, she is involved in many areas of education, including International Baccalaureate (IB), Academic Intervention Services (AIS), Smaller Learning Communities (SLC), Team Building, College Board Vertical Teaming, Adolescent Literacy Across the Content Areas, Multicultural Awareness, and E-Learning. She is also the proud mother of three wonderful boys.
