Read this to my granddaughter last evening before her bedtime. She very much enjoyed it. Gave my daughter a copy also, so she can read it over and over. Puck is a delightful little boy full of adventure and wanting so badly to be a part of everything. Wonderful descriptions with very cute drawings. Thank you Ms. Arditto for providing this wonderful story for children and adults!

Pulchritudinous Book 1 is about a beautiful, lonely little boy named Puck. He grew up in isolation, dreamed of friends, and longed for adventure. Book 1 is a delightful story of innocence. What a pleasure it was to tag along with Puck on his adventures and to meet his new friends. Puck’s adventures were so beautifully described that I felt I was there, walking with them along the brook and into the forests and caves.

I like this book because when I came to the end, I thought darn, it’s over. But it wasn’t really because the author gave me a sneak peek into book 2. That was a treat. I recommend this book for children that like magical adventures and forever friends. You’ll love this book so much that you won’t be able to put it down.

The author’s writing style and illustrations make for a charming book that you will not soon forget. I especially liked the authors quote at the end, “Puck will continue to travel through to his teen years and into manhood as long as I am able to type.”

This is a well written and wonderfully illustrated story of a boy living in a magical forest. Many good life lessons about growing up with values are embedded in the story. This one includes all the titles in the series.

A charming and gentle read for young and older. We need more non-toxic stories like this for children. The illustrations were many and darling. And I see you have an abundance of readers/ reviewers that love you. Wow. Great work.

I don't have an ereader yet so I'm reading books online. This was another quick read for me as I have two nieces who are 5 and 7 years old. I enjoyed it and I know they will too when they visit on the weekend.
A wonderful and sensitive story with lovely pictures. I don't agree with Jeanne21, the pictures couldn't scare any child, they're lovely.
I enjoyed reading this book myself.

I grabbed this book for my kids. They thought it was wonderful and they loved each and every character. The pictures helped their imagination along and I found it both delightful and a good way to teach them about values in life. They adore the young lad and we look forward to the next book.

My daughter and I read the 10 stories here about Puck and so I downloaded the complete book to get the 'teaser' from book 2. We loved it. Book 2 will be just as exciting as the first book if the teaser is any indication.
Looking forward to the publication.

I read a few parts of this book earlier and decided like so many others to grab the whole lot in one book. I love this story as do my children. It is a wonderful fantasy world with some very interesting characters and a lot of lessons to be learnt. It is a great book to help discuss issues and give them a better understanding about responsibility as well as many other things. The pictures are wonderful and it's nice to see the boy Puck and each character this way.
My children have developed a liking for the little boy and look forward to book 2.

I have read all 10 parts of the Pulchritudinous story and found it delightful. I see there will be a Book 2 and look forward to this one also. I bought my two children e-readers for Christmas which I had this book installed. They have been taking turns in reading a part each out loud.
A wonderful story about a little boy who lives in a forest. I would say by his hair and the presence of a wizard it would be set in medieval times. The characters and their corresponding pictures adds to the pleasure of the story and we look forward to book 2 being released after seeing the teaser.

This is a wonderful book for children. I even enjoyed it myself and to find a 'teaser' to book 2 at the end was an added bonus. Book2 I feel will be just as much a pleasure to read as the first book.
Poor Puck, he really gets into unhappy situations when the rabbit Lepus is around. I have no doubt he will show more caution from now on when he sees that rabbit. lol.
Can't wait for book 2.

Yes it's great to see this in one book and part of the following book as a teaser at the end. Poor Puck, he's really having trouble with the rabbit but it was good to see Jenna to the rescue. This little boy is going to have a lot of responsibility dumped on him but I'm sure he'll handle it very well and everyone in our house is looking forward to the continuing story.

Great to see book one all together and we were surprised to find part one of Book two at the end. We suspected that rabbit would be trouble and he will be judging by P1B2. Looking forward to more and keeping our eyes out for the new book being published.

I missed the last couple of stories due to work commitments and my kids were a bit annoyed with me but I've been redeemed when I found the COMPLETE book.
They love the girl at the top of the vine, said she looked like one of their teachers, Haaa. Puck finally got some decent clothes and a house to live in. My kids are happy now and reluctantly will wait for Book 2.

Wonderful to get this in one book. The story from start to finish is beautiful. It doesn't surprise me that children are enjoying this series, as others have said. I hope it goes on forever and I can't wait to see how many books finish up in this series. I don't think anything else on this scale will come out for a long time.

Just found out the whole book came out in one file. Great!
My family will love this when I read it to them again. This small boy has become very popular with my nieces and nephews, and of course the rabbit Lepus.
Looks great with the individual covers for each part left in.

I'm another one that had this book recommended to me. It's absolutely beautifully written and the pictures keep pace with the story, a great combo. This little boy 'Puck', seems so alone but he discovers two unlikely friends. This is the first lesson he learns but there are many more.
He lives in the roots of a yew tree which I thought was lovely. Being a typical little boy he wants to explore his surroundings and this gets him into trouble. This was very subtle but had him thinking about many things. The story progresses nicely and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I will be getting book 2 with no hesitation.
Highly Recommended to families.

This book was recommended to me as I have two children. I've bought them many e-books from major retailers over the last few years. I can't believe this book is free. It is the best I have read and the lessons to be learned combined with the pictures is wonderful. I will definitely be getting book two as soon as it is released.
