About Andrea Houtsch

Residing in northeastern Pennsylvania, Andrea “Wordsmith” Houtsch spends most of her time people-watching. This, in turn, becomes fodder for the varied ideas she has in aggregated stages of development. Primarily a writer of erotic fiction, Andrea enjoys exploring the dynamics of human relationships based on her observations and experiences and delivers stories that go beyond sex to the motivations and emotions that sculpt the intimate relationship leading to physical culmination, and beyond. Openly gay and married to her spouse of ten years, Andrea’s ideas span genres and know no boundaries, often centering around LBGT themes and characters.

When she’s not nose-deep in her writing Andrea is usually found nose-deep in a book, spending quality time with her family, or plugging away at a paid job that gives her plenty of opportunity for people-watching. If she’s not doing any of that she’s probably sleeping, the deep abyss of dreams churning up fodder for yet another story idea.

She's also been told many times that her work is akin to ‘peeping through the keyhole’, that it is ‘emotionally raw‘ and ‘utterly believable‘. These sentiments are pleasing, to be certain, but she leaves that up to you, the reader, to determine for yourself.

“There is no real ending. It’s just the place where you stop the story.” ~ Frank Herbert

You don't feel like you are reading erotica when reading "Between the Pages". There is something wonderfully deliberate about the way this author puts her words together. Tender, teasing, and tantalizing all culminate into a delectable demonstration of heat which makes one simply smile.

Note: I would have liked the cover art to have gone slightly more abstract but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the read.

Good luck with your upcoming novel. I especially like your opposite characters and their hot, passionate love-making, of course.

Spice, sweet. Hot and passionate. Between the Pages tells the tale of a sweet love affair between a devout religious woman and a simple and strong guard who has a soft side for her.
I was delighted with the tenderness of the story which was well interwoven with the both religious and political aspects of their world, and then the hot and steamy climax.
Love fantasy/fiction with a realistic spin? Love ardent erotica? Then you'll love Between the Pages.
