WHEN IT'S TIME TO FALL IN LOVE AGAIN
MOVING ON AT LAST
Portia has never taken off her engagement ring since her fiancé’s death in a fatal accident three years ago. But one day, she just knew that she has to make the decision to move on, as she knew it is what Gideon would want her to do.
Meeting her girlfriends in a club gave her the chance to encounter a former flame -- or not really a flame. She used to date handsome and sweet but very shy Brock. It’s a shame, since he’s as gorgeous as ever, and Portia has not had sex for a really long time. Being with someone she can trust and she really likes upped the chance for finally moving on from her painful past.
But as she and Brock navigate their way through the first phase of romance, a stalker made itself known to Portia through hate email. She can’t think of anyone who could hate her so much to do that.

“I feel a lot more drunk than I did at the bar,” she said.
“Are you sure I should come in?” asked Brock, standing in the doorway.
“Yes, yes. Close the door and come inside.” Portia sat on the edge of her couch and kicked off her shoes. “No, wait, come inside first and then close the door, because otherwise how would you get in?”
“Let me get you a glass of water,” Brock said.
He disappeared into the kitchen and Portia slumped back off the arm of the couch to lie back on its soft and familiar cushions. Her legs dangled over the arm, and she had a flash of consideration that her skirt might have slipped to show a little more leg than was proper, but it was only Brock after all....
