Very good read. Satified the "Twilight" in me.

A young man is bought into hospital after a serious accident. He dies, causing one of the new nurses an unexplainable sadness. 10 minutes after he is pronounced dead, the heart monitor beeps and Colin comes back to life.

The majority of this story is a love tale between the nurse Jewel and the young crash victim Colin who does not know that he is immortal. Drama ensues. Throw in an uncle who does not want to let Colin know about his unique heritage, a twilight like love tale, the Templar Knights and their mortal enemy the Obsidian Knights who will wipe out the ‘infidels’ at any cost… and you have yourself an interesting story.

Though well written, this novel for me was a little too much romance, not enough fantasy. This type of impossible love has been done before and though enjoyable, I found that it dwelled a little too much upon the ‘will we make it or is our love fated to end in tragedy.’ The end might surprise, but then again, there aren’t too many outcomes available once you get into the tale.

Recommended for romantics, but not so much for the fantasy lover.

Love Immortal is the story of Jewell, a young trauma nurse and Collin a young man with a surprising secret that not even he knows. When Collin is brought into the hospital one night having been hit by a drunk driver Jewell is in the room helping to try to save him. Unfortunately it seems that the effort is for nothing and Collin dies. Jewell feeling a strange connection to the young man stays in the room with him reflecting on the tragedy of his lost life when an amazing thing happens. His heart begins to beat again. As Collin recovers Jewell begins to visit him and they start to develop strong feelings for each other. His miraculous recovery also brings him to the attention of two very different groups, one sworn to protect him, and the other sworn to destroy him.

The story develops with Jewell and Collin learning more about each other and Collin beginning to learn some secrets about himself as well. Now to be honest this book is not something that I normally would read, but it is something that I can very easily see sharing with my daughter when she gets a little bit older. The book is well written with an excellent flow that made it difficult to put the book down at times. I was very impressed with how I did get pulled into the story even though it is far outside my normal comfort zone. This is an author I will keep an eye on for further releases.

I enjoyed the video very much and found the beginning of the book to be very intriguing. Ultimately the book was more appropriate to a younger audience than myself, and there were some parts I found unnecessary. So I'll refrain from giving a rating as I do not wish detract from the five star ratings. I think this author could go a long way with this story and I would like to see her do so. I think her writing style is developing well. Keep up the good work and keep honing your skill.
P.S. I love that there was a scientific reason for Collin's longevity.

I've just finished reading Love Immortal and found it intriguing. The story of Jewell and Collin and how much they loved each other even though they had only known each other for a short time.Besides being a love story there was also suspense and a plot line that had to do with the Holy Grail.Parts of Love Immortal were similar to Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code.I give Love Immortal five stars for being a captivating and intriguing read.

I would give this book at most 3 stars. The writing is mediocre at best and the storyline is a regurgitated version of doomed mortal/immortal love, the best that can be said about it is its moderately entertaining and thankfully there are no vampires. This book by no means deserves a five star rating.

I was nervous about reading this book. Vampires scare me (a throwback to the black and white horror films from my youth) but the reveiews were good so I downloaded it to give it a try.
So very glad that I took the change. This was great book and like the other reviewers I am looking forward to the next one.

I must have downloaded 50 books during the free book week, and most of them were okay. Only a handful were pretty good, and there were only a couple that I really feel like I should review. This was one of them. I read a lot of books and there aren't many that draw me in the way this one did. I really felt like I could relate to the characters. The felt like people that could be my friends. I really cared about Jewell and Collin and what happened to them. This was a real page turner. It was very well written. The end definitely set it up for a sequel. I hope that's where the author was planning to go with this. Otherwise, you're just kind of left hanging, but overall, this was a really good book.

I read this book for a book report for school on the advice of my school's librarian. I was looking for something a little different and she suggested this book. Our library had just got it in but someone had checked it out. I have a Nook so I came to Smashwords to see if they had it here. Boy am I glad they did! I actually stayed up all last night and all day today reading it! It was sooo good! BUY THIS BOOK!

I am not generally one for reading at all, but this was a great read. This was easy to follow even for someone like me. This book came highly recommended to me so I picked it up. The ending made me glad to hear that this was a trilogy though, and I cannot wait for the next one to come out to continue! Keep up the good work and make a reader out of me yet! Does anyone know of any other books this author may have written?
