In 2001, Allison founded Get It In Writing, Inc., a company that provided copywriting and marketing services and consulting to businesses throughout the world. Now, as principal of Allison Nazarian Unlimited, Allison works closely with a small handful of clients, focusing on writing and editing speeches, presentations and blogs, as well as creating learning, speaking, and coaching programs for consultants, entrepreneurs, and leaders in areas such as real estate, personal development, business management, and media.

Allison is the author of the “Do-It-Yourself” copywriting books Copywriting 101 for Small Businesses, Entrepreneurs, Coaches and Consultants and One Minute Copywriter, as well as of the newly-released Love Your Mess™. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, INC, Entrepreneur, and Fortune Small Business. Allison writes on the entrepreneurial life, working from home, working moms, single parenthood, loving your mess, and all of the things, people, and “stuff” that make up real life.

Allison tells people she is an “empire-builder by day (and night) and a mom by night (and day).” Originally from the Washington, DC, area, she is a walker, wanna-be runner, speedreader, football fan, and someday-bookstore owner who lives in Florida with her family.
