About John G Rees

j g rees’ early years were spent in a funeral home in Indiana, his father, the mortician and his mother, the makeup artist, who also operated the local ambulance service. Fertile ground, huh?
Some would say he lived an adventurous life. Crossing the country, traveling the world and landing in Hawaii, he was happily employed in many different jobs that wreaked havoc with his body, enjoying them all thoroughly.
From contractor and painter to welding above and below water as a salvage diver amongst other watery duties, rees’ varied experiences lay full a vast storeroom for his vivid imagination. It all just simmered inside him, until too much death around him created the need for release. And he found it, suddenly, in writing.
j g rees lives happily on the Island of Hawaii, with his wife, chickens and cat, in the middle of nowhere. He hopes it stays that way.
