It all happened one stormy night on October 31, 1929. A man by the name of Jasper Davis and his wife Elizabeth were driving down country roads in search of their dream home. More

This is a wonderful story, however, it is a little stiff in the flow of conversation. There are a few spelling errors and punctuation errors. A quick rewrite would tidy everything up.
I didn't require a description of the man in black as I had my own image with just a few words and that's all that was needed.
As for a review? The story alone is well worth the read.

No flow to the story whatsoever. One minute the two main characters are alone, the next, they suddenly have children waiting for them in the car. One moment they're walking to the mansion's study, the next they've apparently already signed paperwork. There is absolutely no transition.
I have said it before, and I will say it again: there are no descriptions to be found here. It is all well and good to leave some things to the imagination, but whole swathes of text leave all the work to the reader. What does the man in black look like? A stick figure wearing a tux?

Great story! Creepy, Eerie, and believable.
