About Julie Speer

An Emmy award-winning Writer-Producer-Director, Julie Speer has been creating digital film & video productions since 1999. She has created hundreds of short documentaries for nonprofits around the world, several hour-long documentaries, as well as TV shows for PBS. Julie thrives on tackling social issues and is passionate about civic engagement. Growing up camping, hiking and rafting in Idaho gave her a passion for the outdoors. She lives in Denver, Colorado with her daughter Ashley.

This is a good, quick read about a very important issue. It sheds light in a positive way and is great for my kids. Completely unrelated to the core topic: its totally cool that its a mixed family ;-)
