A Matter of Perspective
The Christian life is a paradox—we need to see ourselves as we were, but more importantly we need to see ourselves from God's perspective—that we have been chosen by God, now made holy and blameless in Christ! We are loved because we are loveable! More
It's possible for a blind person to 'see' God, yet for those with 20/20 vision to be blind. A deaf woman can 'hear' God but someone with excellent hearing may miss His voice. A simple man can 'know' God while an intellectual scholar may fail to understand His ways. The 'unlovely' can experience the deep love of God while the most secure, confident, talented person may never be touched by the heart of God. The soul of man sees things through natural eyes while his spirit sees through eyes of faith. In 'A Matter of Perspective' the author shares something of the heart of God for us, a heart full of love for every one of us!
