I just finished your book and wanted to write to you and say that you hit it dead on with your description of what Aberdeen is like. I moved there in 72 when I was 15 and it wasn't much different than the time period you wrote about. I stayed there for 8 long years and like Nancy, I dreamed of the day I could get away. When it came I never looked back! I truly enjoyed your book and hope to see more from you in the future.
