About Alex Brantham

Who am I? That’s a good question and, as for many people, there are several possible answers.

I’m a recovering ex-corporate slave, and spent more years than I care to remember in the commercial jungle. Anytime I want to remember what it was like, I just pop off to the world of Dilbert from Scott Adams. It was just like that!

I’m married with two grown-up children and although that’s great news for me, it doesn’t help you much – a lot of people could say something very similar.

So let’s just say that I’m a writer. On my website you’ll find a few snippets of flash fiction from me, and also information about my first novel, One Equal Temper. I hope you enjoy it!

One Equal Temper gives a fascinating insight into the London Olympics and life in the Olympics Village. You follow the protagonist, Graham, on his ups and downs as he navigates both the challenges he is presented as an Olympics volunteer, and the many colourful characters he encounters along the way. And that's without even touching on the rocky path of romance: whether Graham will move on from Tanya, find a future with Karen or hook up with someone entirely different! This debut novel is a page-turner with a witty sense of humour. What's not to like?
