About Marie Hall

Marie Hall has always held a dangerous fascination for creatures that go bump in the night. And mermaids. And of course fairies. Trolls. Unicorns. Shapeshifters. Vampires. Scottish brogues. Kilts. Beefy arms. Ummm... Bad boys! Especially the sexy ones.

Then the day came she realized apart from the sexy bad boy she married, there'd be no vampires/shapeshifters/mermaids/fairies/or even stinky trolls in her future unless she wrote about them. More often than not she can be found roaming the wild, lush tropical forest she calls her backyard (a.k.a. Hawaii) and day dreaming constantly about her latest project.

Her Mad Hatter is the first book of her Kingdom Series.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review (LoP or Lovers of Paranormal)

Huntsman's Prey (Kingdom Series: Book 7) By Marie Hall is just as amazing as the other 6 in the Kingdom series.

Marie hasn't disappointed at all. The Huntsman is as yummy as the other bad boys. Complex, alluring & a bit of an annoyance with his stubbornness (in a good way). His charge is to capture Chrysalis the daughter of the Mad hatter & Alice who was cursed by the moon & currently causing havoc in Wonderland.

The story is very in depth, you can picture where you are & the characters with ease thanks to Marie's writing. This, like the others in the series is a definite page turner that once you pick up, you cannot put down. I love the twist at the end & I'm SOOOOOOOOO looking forward to Book 8!!!

Please don't ever stop writing about Kingdom as I may cry.

Stars: 5

Overall: This book was a fantastic magical fantasy ride through Wonderland. We meet Chrysalis at the age for 4 and she is cursed by the moon, with a heart shaped tear drop by her eye. Her parents keep her locked about in one of Hatter's magical gardens because of it and hopes by the age of 18 that Danaika's blessing with help turn the curse around. But low and behold it doesn't seem to help. So Danaika goes in search for her charge The Huntsmen because he may be the key to saving her. After a murderous encounter with Chrysalis, Aeric is wounded and wakes up to find a cat/woman named Lissa that wants to help him make it through Wonderland. They go on an adventure that leads them down so crazy twists and turns and the ending is something not to be missed. I'm still in shock over the ending because i didn't see it playing out like that, but i'm definitely glad it did.

Characters: Chrysalis/Lissa & Aeric

Page Turner: Yes!

Series Cont: Yes! I cannot wait until April!
