A female who had suffered years of physical and emotional abuse from her father decides to speak out. She begins researching and writing up her story late at night, when she hears her doorbell ring. She ignores it as its so late, but the ringing carries on. When she finally answers, the person doesn't speak and she offers him a room for the night. Could this be a blast from the past? More
A female in her mid 20's who had suffered years of physical and emotional abuse from her father decides to speak out after being advised by a close friend.
After moving to the outskirts of Scotland to a lonely house in the middle of no-where, she has a lot of free time. So one night time, she begins researching and typing up her story of her childhood.
After hours of sitting at her computer, her doorbell begins ringing and she doesn't want to answer as it's so late. When she finally does, she comes face to face with a man she doesn't immediately know who he is, however she recognises him and feels various emotions. He doesn't speak at first, and when she invites him in he finally talks.His name is Andrew, and she had never met an Andrew where she lived, apparently he had been living rough in the forest surrounding her home but she never once noticed him. She feels safe but worried, and she begins feeling all sorts of emotions. She lets Andrew stay the night and offers him her spare bedroom until he gets himself sorted.
She carries on using her computer and begins crying, this is when Andrew stands and places his hand on her shoulder. She asks him why he apologises and he walks away, she doesn't get an answer so she storms off to bed leaving Andrew alone in her home. As she hears footsteps towards her bedroom door she remembers all the emotions she felt when her father abused her as a child eventually falling to sleep she wakes hours before her alarm with a change of outdoor scenery. The night time fog and cold had disappeared and she is now in sunshine and heat. An extremely confused woman, she wonders if she really experienced the night before, or was she dreaming? Or even worse, was she hallucinating?
