I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

I liked the growing relationship between the main characters, but some of the story for me was just too obvious. It was a good read and the author has a great style of writing and would recommend this for a rainy day read.

Received from the author in return for an honest review.

I read this in a single sitting, the story has a good pace and keeps moving along. Although Drake starts off as a hard-nosed business man bent on revenge, you know that Ellie wouldn't be attracted to him if he didn't have a softer side to his nature.

Both of them have trauma's in their past that they're dealing with (or not). And I liked that although Ellie had her "brain-to-mush" moments in Drakes' presence, she's still a strong woman prepared to stand up for what she wants and doesn't let Drake get away with anything.

It's a sexy romance with the expected HEA, but it's still a very good read.
