This was a very interesting book with deeper underlying themes than originally appears. While I found the beginning a little slow and thought it could use a little proofreading, it really picks up around the middle, and I found myself drawn into unique perspectives on God, the Devil, and humanity's plight. On the surface, amusing and enjoyable, the deeper commentary on current events, religion, and day to day behavior of people is what really kept me reading. The book is very well thought out and enjoyable.

Karl and the Prankster God is quite unlike any other book I've ever read, it's a roller coaster of a tale. It made me laugh out loud with its incredibly colourful characters. It's insightful, delightful and full of dark wit. Douglas Adams meets Irvine Welch! Highly recommended!
