I found this free story to be fast-paced, exciting, and funny. It really sets the stage for an interesting character -- a pair of them, actually -- as they navigate a treacherous world where danger lurks around every corner and loyalties can change in an instant. I hope the author revisits and expands upon this universe as I am definitely eager for more.

And let me correct the previous reviewer, whom I'm not even sure read the story: it isn't a gender-swapped version of any particular video game or movie. Fictional assassins have appeared in media of all sorts for many years, as has the plot of a secret agent discovering that his or her employers may be up to no good. L:R has more in common with movies like Salt or the TV show Alias than, say, HITMAN. In short, you probably already know if you enjoy tales of this kind, and if you do it's well worth your time.

Seems to be a rip off of the video game HITMAN. Most people know about AGENT-47 and the AGENCY. There is even a movie. Turning a man into girl and changing the name of the assassin organization is certainly not going to fool me.

Oh man, tell me there's more!! :D
There's more, yes? Because this is clearly a prologue to something hopefully much bigger. A novel? A series of novels? Come on! :D

I've enjoyed it very much, I must say. You have an excellent style, you keep the pace very well, you flesh out the scenes very well. Superb stuff, mate. :)

Thank you very much for introducing me to Lotus and the SANCTUM. That piece of story truly made my morning. Hope you've written or are writing more!

Action, intrigue and plenty of promise here for a compelling series of adventures with a lovely and lethal lady. Michael delivers good stuff.

WOW. What a great start of something very promising. I have been hooked on the writings of Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff since his start. Michael has the same potential of becoming someone who's work will be bought by me the minute it is released.
But I want more Michael and I want it now!!!!
