About Christine Brand

Christine Brand - Author of short stories, flash fiction and #vss.

I began self-publishing in January 2014. Starting with a short story I found I liked writing flash fiction.

I have been writing for myself for many years, but it is only now that I found the courage to share my work with the world. I have also written some poetry and am working on a novel. I have five short eBooks - all available to download free from Smashwords.com and other online retailers. During 2014 I also tweeted "Very Short Stories" (#vss) on Twitter, and collected these, with illustrations, into three eBooks.

From South London / Surrey, I served seven years as a Medical Assistant in the Royal Air Force, then worked for the NHS. I am now an administrator. I am also a voluntary member of staff with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.

I enjoy writing, painting and other creative crafts and I create my own cover art.

It was really enjoyable to be looking through the eyes of this observer traveling on the London train. The small glimpses into the private lives of some of the passengers, arouses curiosity, and hints at the rich, deep and complex stories that generally lay hidden from view.

A pleasure to read; I felt as though I were a passenger myself.

Great book to read! I have a picture in my mind of the passengers which is not going to get erased easily.
