A very fine short story, reminiscent and worthy of Poe. This story is about rage being mirrored by mystery, reflected back as fear.

7/15/1905, Cora my wife & Dr. Hawley Harvey Crippen lived in their new house at 39 Hilldrop Crescent (England). They came from the US where he worked at Dr. Munyon’s Pharmaceuticals.
Cora was quite busy with her social functions the Music Hall Ladies Guild. I now work at Drouef’s Institute for the Deaf. My assistant is Ethel Le Neve. Hodges is 1 of our lodgers. Dr. Crippen heard a voice & Hodges had a female in his room. It was Cora, he moved out & Rothering moved in. Ethel & Dr. Crippen were becoming quite good friends. Cora is starting to become suspicious. Dr. Crippen acquired some Hyoscine to help him sleep. It has other uses as well.
Cool book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written mysterious romantic affair short story (book). It was very easy to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. No grammar errors, repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios & a great set of unique characters. It could be a great mystery movie or short mini TV series. No doubt in my mind a very easy rating of 5 stars for this short story (book).
Thank you for the free short story (book)

An excellent short story based on the Crippen murder case. I loved the idea that something vague yet terrifying somehow
caused the murder. I wont spoil it by giving any more detail than that....
