About Francisco Figueira

I do not consider myself a writer. I am rather a creator. I create stories and concepts. And they are not specifically tailored to any media format. So they could become either books or movies or videogames or even other media experiences. Media formats are nothing more than possible translations of my stories and ideas.

Among all my ideas, I would say most of them are inspired by my ambition to predict the future. And the greatest asset to do so is the past. Looking at the present with the “eyes” of the past should be the same as looking at the future.

Unfortunately, I do not have budget to freely choose any media format for my stories. Writing is thus the only feasible option. Maybe someday I will have the means to extend to other media. For now, I just want you to see what I see. And I believe writing allows me to convey all my ideas to you.

Not overly good or bad, I am not drawn to read others in the series.

Very interesting story. Not a perfect implementation, but it has something important to tell us.
It makes us reflect on humankind's behaviour. The greediness/selfishness of some men vs. the altruism of others. And how the former still prevails.
It shows that our society is not evolved to the point of a great good not bringing huge harm.

Really good stuff! This is a very short story with an interesting action and an enigmatic ending. It only takes 15 minutes to read but it takes much more to think over it.

Free of long descriptions and dragging plots, "The Medicine" delivers a quick sharing of different experiences/perspectives and new ideas.

The story is about a plat that cures all the diseases and how humanity deals with such thing. The idea is very original and the details are well thought. For example, it is said that the stalk cures any sore, the leafs any physical disease and the flower any psycological disease, but no one knows what does the fruit. I'm looking forward to discover that!
