Private Dancer is so authentic: Leather has accurately captured both the bar and the farang-Thai relationship scene in Thailand. A novel with a non-put downable quality. With a surprising twist at the end.

Stephen very kindly allowed me to refer to his book in my own non-fictional work,Thailand Take 2, which gives a balanced and no-holds barred view of this amazing country. Private Dancer similarly shows the real Thailand. I agree with the Thai media, it should indeed be required reading.

Another fabulous read from master story teller Stephen Leather. The story is related by all the characters involved so you see it from different sides as the tale unfolds. I was gripped by the whole story and loved the book, especially the final twist.
