About Lindsey Owens

Lindsey Owens is the author of the erotica fiction novel In the Dark as well as The Chocolatier and the new adult novel Fated, all published by Dream Big Publishing. She has many more novels to come!

She's just a girl who wants fun romance novels! Is that so much to ask? Not the same ol' same ol'? Not all love is slow and casual, some are fast paced and nearly overwhelming. Not all paranormal books have vampires! Not all stories have been told!
Seriously!? Lindsey took it upon herself to begin her stories for her own entertainment in the beginning of early 2000. She had not struggled with finding books that captivated her, no, instead stories began to form in her head. The more she read, the more she loved to write.
Her romance stories began with her desire to write things down! More romance! More Paranormal Romance!

She lives in the South with her husband and children where she continues to put her thoughts to paper.

Diesel is an Alpha dragon shape shifter, and Miley is the confident, but sensitive woman, who has him wrapped around her finger. Island of Dragons is a fun and exciting read that kept me hooked from the very start. I was getting worried about Miley when she got to the Island there was tension that kept me turning the page excited to know what happens next! The hero, Diesel, is everything a strong Alpha male should be including being sensitive and helpful while Miley confronts and resolves the issues in her life. This story had me cheering time and again as Lindsey Owens took me for a wonderful ride that left me cheering, grinning, and wanting more.

Photographer used as a pawn between 2 Dragon Clans. Though she overcomes be abandoned on a seemingly deserted Island, she eventually finds out that things aren't always what they seem, and sometimes fate takes a hand and eventually gives the HEA we're looking for. Though a bit choppy in my opinion, overall a wonderful read.

Miley is a young up and coming photographer who gets sent on assignment to a supposed unexplored island in the Galapagos Islands. She is abandoned by her guide and begins exploring and taking pictures on her own when she is discovered by the male inhabitants of the island who all seem to be very interested in her…especially Diesel, the alpha.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this paranormal romance. The writing did start out to be a little immature, but it quickly improved after the first few chapters and then really drew me into the storyline and characters. The romantic build-up between Miley and Diesel is great. They don’t just instantly fall in love and into a sexual relationship; instead we get to read about how their relationship develops and builds.

I felt the story moved along at a nice pace to keep me interested and it also has a wonderful HEA ending!
