Reviews of Careful - a novel by Randy Anderson

I have a son and we have an amazing relationship. I love how we can share all the happy and sad moments in our lives. This book is about a boy and the flashbacks of his present and his youth. A coming of age of sorts. The exploration of the relationship between mother and son. Each chapter alternate between the past, when the main character Tyler was an exchange student in Ecuador and the present, where Tyler shares the sad and painful secrets when he was young to his mother. They are both equally riveting and detailed. Anderson creates 2 circumstances that attracts both young adult readers and parents. This was enjoyable and well written.
