About Roy Sakelson

Roy Sakelson lives with his wife, two kids, and a cat in San Jose, California.

He works for a large professional services firm as a senior marketing manager, writer, and presentation coach. He has also spent many years as an editor and journalist covering the world's high-tech industry.

When he's not working, he loves walking in the woods, grilling in the backyard, drinking good wine, laughing with his wife, playing with his kids--and wondering how he got so lucky. In his rare moments of solitude, he loves to read classic literature, history, poetry, philosophy, and children's fiction.

“…Sakelson’s debut is a worthy addition to the canon of medieval fairy tales.” —Kirkus Reviews
