A Tantalizing Treat!

This is the first paranormal romance novel I have ever read, and I have to say, I'm pretty hooked! How exciting to be introduced to a new (for me anyway) genre by such a fun and exciting book. Rhine takes the reader in to a world where vampires walk among us, living and working in modern society. MacTiernan happens to run a high-end escort service, and business is booming. He thinks he is destined to be alone in the world forever...until his "dark angel" (ooh lala...goosebumps!) Darcy Engel enters the picture. Of course, he's a little reluctant to share his affliction with her at first (vampirism is likened to having a virus in the novel), but he can't seem to stay away, and a run-in with a female vampire forces him to do whatever he needs to do to protect his new love, no matter what the cost may be.

Along with the main story, there are flashback chapters that show the reader how MacTiernan ended up a vampire in the first place; a wise decision by Rhine that gave us more insight into the main character as a man.

Needless to say, I'll be picking up book two!
