Reviews of Goodnight to My Thoughts of You by Chelsea Rotunno

Mary Broccardo reviewed on March 30, 2018

Fair warning, you will not put this down once you start! Chelsea Rotunno’s writing makes you feel the emotions of the characters in the most relateable ways. You can tell Rotunno writes from the heart! She pushes the social norm to talk about what’s actually going on for young women in the church today when it comes to dating and relationships and the effects it has on your life. Refreshing to hear a story of a young woman figuring out herself, but also her relationship with God along the way. It might make you laugh, cry and get angry because some of these stories sound too real with things that have happened in our own lives. I would recommend this to any group of girls in the youth church today, as well as any young woman who needs some inspiration of God’s love and redemption!

My best novel to date! The hand of God is really in this, so real, so inspiring and so beautiful. So touching and beautiful. A MUST READ

Rotunno's writing is fresh and honest. The story arcs well with a lovable main character--full of heart and flaws. Though the heroine is a Christian, I appreciated the absence of pat answers and preachy writing. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to watching Rotunno develop as a writer. A wonderful debut!
