An easy to read story that gradually gets scary. I may never again look at an ice-cream van again in the same way. I liked that the characters were real in the way they spoke and acted. You could like what they did or disagree with them. A well-rounded story. Great for young people who like to get scared and live someone else's dangers in the safety of a book.

WOW! This is definitely a scary tale of horror...the kind that sends goose bumps up and down your spine. You can't put it down, even though some of the mental images it conjures up makes you want to. Well worth the read!

An intriguing story that holds together all the way through. It has horror, with an element of mystery and personal growth.
My kids really liked the fact that, as annoying as Marty could be, Andy will still do anything it takes to protect his little brother.
