About Dominique Vincent

I have never met a stray that I did not like particularly giant dogs and naughty cats. I am always determined to help them find a home. I love cooking Christmas dinner and sabotaging diets with my thick, homemade, buttery peanut brittle. I am definitely a morning person and do most of my writing in the early morning and into the early afternoon. I love taking pictures of trees that have seen better days. They are usually broken, leafless and barely standing. Yet they stand and survive inclement weather. There is so much beauty in them and they make remarkably beautiful prints.

At my girlfriends insistence I read this book with her and was wondering how I was going to pretend that I enjoyed it. Was surprised, the book was good. We’re giving it five stars.

my roommates are into this book right now and I can totally see why. It's incredible and Chastity Vase is an inspiration. She's the most unlikely hero who ends up looking more and more like a hero with each chapter

I absolutely loved reading about Chastity and sent a gift of this story to my friends. It was nice to read about a girl who wasn't model thin and still the leading lady. Chastity has personality, brains and charm and she just happens to have a pear shape and she also had the hot guy. It's not like she had to have a pear shape but it was great to follow an exciting character who was kind of like me. Most of all the story was incredible and took my mind away from my worries. I had a great time with Chastity and I like imagining that I can have a guy like Danny too

I got this as a gift and read it one night. I couldn’t put it down. It’s hard to find a vampire novel that stands out from the pack with all the vampire mania but this one is awesome. A must read.

Wow what a fantastic book. Before I read the sample, I went into this book thinking that the heroine would be a runway model/ actress/ beautiful magazine cutout but I was wrong and her vampire who was new to vampirism managed to hold on to his heart and soul. They were soul mates! I think the part that I like the best is the love story that started out not being a love story. In these books usually love is for the slender girl but Chastity isn’t slim, or chubby. She’s kind of sort of mini-fat like lots of girls you see walking around. But she has this sense of humor and honesty that really made me see her as more than just the fat girl who was in a gothic story. She was just the interesting girl and that was a refreshing change. Danny is a rock star and I really liked that part because this time the girl who wasn’t thin got the hunk---nothing against thin girls but it’s nice to see a bigger girl get the guy sometimes. I don’t know if I would say that this book is only gothic because it has some serious themes of violence and abuse that make it seem very realistic. People go through these things but you don’t always see them merged with a paranormal story. This review is so long but I just wanted to tell the author and everyone that I loved it. I’m a Dominique Vincent fan now and I’m hoping that he next book comes out soon!
