Not the typical Vamp/Human love fest I initially expected…and feared. This novel exposes the reader to different types of Vamps and Vampire-like creatures, changes in the capabilities and survivability of the Vamps themselves. There are sprints through forests, and hideaways where plans are made, watching from a distance, all the things one would expect to find in a spy thriller.

This is actually a really well written spy-type novel that I enjoyed. Be prepared to be stunned by the path, shocked by the outcome and pleased by the entire trip.
