About Frederick Bennett

Frederick Bennett received his PhD in psychology from the University of Utah in 1971. He worked as a clinician and as owner of clinical programs. He started in computer programming as an aid to his business and later developed and sold other computer programs. It was from his computer programing that he realized the potential power of computers in education. He studied how computers were actually being used in a few locations as tutors and could not and still cannot understand why the power of computers is wasted when they could reform education if used properly.
