Reviews of The Fire Erzu of Qi' Lam by Marc Nadeau

Freddy Clayton reviewed on March 29, 2012

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Mr. Nadeau deftly creates an imaginary world, but he maintains a consistency that enables the reader to suspend his disbelief comfortably and become engrossed in the story. The characters are believable, complex, and interesting, and despite my expectations, I ended up caring about them. The story starts slowly, building momentum, and by the middle of the book, I was both eager and anxious to learn what would happen next. I recommend The Fire Erzu of Qi Lam enthusiastically, and I look forward to reading Mr. Nadeau's next work.
