About Dr.GabrielaReed KathrynMurphy

Dr. Gabriela Reed is a Pediatric Psychologist in the Department of Gastroenterology at Children’s Medical Center – Dallas. She also holds a faculty appointment as Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Reed completed her undergraduate work at Texas A&M University in College Station, and went on to earn her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Reed specializes in working with children and young adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and is an integral part of the Southwestern Pediatric IBD Center at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Dr. Reed also serves on the Medical Advisory Committee for the North Texas Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America and is in her 6th year as the Mental Health Director for CCFA’s Camp Oasis, a medical camp for youth with IBD.

Ms. Kathryn Murphy initiated this project as an intern with the American Association of Suicidology in 2013. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from The Catholic University of America.
