About Helen Page

Helen hasn't always been a writer. She was diagnosed with womb cancer at the age of 36, only 2 short months after getting married. Following diagnosis came a period of soul searching, researching and revisions to her daily diet and lifestyle choices. Feeling empowered and in some ways healthier than ever before, Helen set about putting her experiences and knowledge down on paper in the hope of helping other people with the cancer. This is how 'Beat Cancer's Butt' came about.

Helen holds degrees from the University of Birmingham and the University of Southampton. She worked as full time a social worker in the UK before her partner was offered a job in Hong Kong. Helen and her now husband have lived in Hong Kong for 18 months and are enjoying the life experiences this move has given them.

This is an excellent and heart-warming book, engaging to read and full of useful advice on how to tackle cancer positively, and improve your lifestyle at the same time. For anyone that has cancer or knows someone with cancer, or even for those that don't but just want to improve their well-being, it should be a must-read!
