She attended St. Anne's-Belfield High School in Charlottesville, Virginia before continuing her education at Pine Manor College in Boston, Massachusetts. Goode graduated with a B.A., in Communications with a focus on film and television. An avid fan of espionage and thrillers, this is Goode's first novel. She lives in Virginia.
