Nicholas Woode-Smith is a political commentator, student and science fiction author from Cape Town, South Africa. He debuted his writing career with the release of Fall of Zona Nox. He co-founded the Rational Standard, a political commentary site, in 2016 and continues to manage and write for the site. He is currently studying at the University of Cape Town.

As a Capetonian, I found it very interesting reading about zombies in my home city. I recognised a lot of the different landmarks and this kept it engaging.

The best part for me was that the main character actually knew about zombie culture from movies and games, instead of all these other main characters who are ignorant of one of the world's most popular trends.

I would advise this to fans of zombies, action or social commentary.
